Retirement

A celebration was held to honor Gary Price, jig bore operator, who retired from Ahaus after 34 years of service.  A special cake and some memories were shared with Gary and his wife Loretta.  President Kevin Ahaus presented Gary with a watch to commemorate his years of service and the employees presented him with a few fun gifts.  Congratulations and happy retirement!

ISO Recertification
By Terri Harrison, Quality Representative

“Quality is Top Priority at Ahaus”

Ahaus Tool & Engineering would like to announce that it has completed the
ISO 9001:2000 recertification audit of its manufacturing facility.  The audit was completed the week of December 4, 2006.  Ahaus Tool & Engineering was one of the first to achieve the ISO 9001 certification.  Since then, the company has maintained its certification and provided our customers with high quality services.  Ahaus first registered its quality system in 1996 to ISO 9001:1994.  Over the past decade, the company has continually improved its quality to meet the newest and most stringent standards leading it to the industry standard ISO 9001:2000.  The current recertification is valid until 2009.

I would like to thank all of the employees for their support and participation throughout the week long recertification audit.  Your cooperation and hospitality was greatly appreciated.  As an organization, we demonstrated a commitment to our quality.  Thank you for helping us prepare for the recertification audit and for doing such a great job achieving our goal
