A major automotive supplier required a solution to assemble a valve assembly every 30 seconds. The machine request required a recipe-based concept for various part numbers that supported ride selection technology in the shock absorber industry.
As part of the pre-sale process our applications and sales engineers worked closely with the customer to develop an innovative robot-integrated system with custom quick-change concepts to increase machine uptime and reduce changeover time. Our team of mechanical and controls engineers then worked closely with our project management team to ensure all customer specifications were met to deliver a machine that produced an assembly every 30 seconds.
The success of the project resulted in several other machines being design and build for the shock absorber industry.
